Preferring to be known by my middle name, Nerry, I’m an experienced, reliable and diligent nurse, maintaining an unimpeachable reputation for addressing the primary care needs of patients in a wide variety of disciplines. In addition to other specialities I offer minor illness experience and am seeking short and long term flexible locum work in a self employed capacity within primary care settings in the East Midlands area.
My previous military and NHS experience ensures empathy and efficiency allowing me to work with a wide variety of patients in a timely, professional and precise manner. I get on well with my co-workers and am experienced at adapting to changing workplace roles and quickly forging productive working relationships with other professionals.
This is how I like to work.
1. Applying best professional practice, taking into account ongoing personal development and the highest regulatory, ethical and commercial standards to protect the interests of my patients.
2. Understanding how primary healthcare and advanced strategies operate, focusing on a wide range of approaches that may be used to develop treatment.
3. Developing effective strategies for health planning and advising of the implications of those decisions.
4. Applying higher level skills in medical analysis and the preparation and interpretation of medical data for effective decision-making, ongoing engagement and reporting.
5. Interrogating and understanding NMC rules, guidance, legislation and regulations to facilitate guidance and recommendations to develop effective and appropriate healthcare advice.
Enthusiasm for my role and expert and knowledgable insight is at the heart of what I do. I welcome enquiries from agencies helping me find locum positions in and around Leicestershire. For the correct role, and it has to be financially viable, I’m prepared to travel.
